Inna Kalugina, born in 1994 in Ivano-Frankivsk, in the Ukraine, has lived from a very young age the  passion and innate predisposition for singing and the stage. In 2011 she was brilliantly admitted to  the « P. Tchaikovsky » National Academy of Music in Kiev, and in 2017 she graduated in Opera  Singing with full marks and honors, in June 2019 the Master Degree, under the guidance of Irina  Semenenko. 

In 2013, however, she was the winner of the « New Names of Ukraine » competition, and therefore  awarded by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation for her charitable work and development of national  culture. Ms. Kalugina took an active part in the cultural life of the Music Academy, in particular by  participating in numerous productions of the Opera Studio. Her prestigious debut role at the Lviv  Opera dates back to 2017 as « La Contessa », in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. 

In November 2018 Inna joined the project « Open Opera Ukraine », and performed as Second Lady in  the Opera « Dido and Aeneas » by H. Purcell, conductor – Iliya Korol, staging-Tamara Trynova) Ms.  Kalugina has collaborated with internationally renowned conductors such as Iliua Korol, Cyiril  Diederich, Yuriy Bervetsky and many others. In February 2018 she was invited as a soloist in the great  celebratory project of composer Sergej Bortkiewicz, “Bortkiewicz in Ukraine”, and was the first  soprano to sing complete cycles of vocal chamber music of this composer in Ukraine. 

Ms. Kalugina has always extensively combined her activity as an opera singer with her passion for  acting, especially in the productions of her Drama Theater in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. Furthermore,  in 2019, Ms. Kalugina made her debut in the role of Iolanta in Tchaikovsky’s opera « Iolanta », for the  « P.Tchaikovskji » National Academy in Kiev. She worked and deepened the operatic repertoire with  vocal coaches Eytan Pessen, Matthias Rexroth and Olga Pasiechnik, of the National Opera “Wielki  Nadorowa” in Warsaw, Poland. Subsequently Ms.Kalugina was selected to follow advanced courses  in Austria with the famous Russian baritone Vladimir Chernov, former professor at UCLA in California  – USA. 

In 2019 she was brilliantly admitted to the advanced course of high specialization at the Ecole  Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot in the class of Maestro Vladimir Chernov. 
In October 2020 Ms.Kalugina took part in the program “L’ Acadèmie de la Voix”, Fondation de Treilles  and as part of this event she was able to attend a masterclass with the well-known soprano Annick  Massis. 

Among the most recent successes, Ms. Kalugina performed recitals at the Festival « Les Concerts au  Coucher de Soleil » in Provence, and in particular, with great public and critical acclaim, on October  7, 2021 in a Grand Gala, in the role of Pamina, held at the monumental « La Madeleine » in Paris, as  the main soloist. 

Ms. Kalugina is a scholar with merit at L’Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot and  supported by fondation Goélands and Denis and, Malvina Menda. 

In February 2022 she became the winner of the competition of the 2nd prize Teatro Sperimentale  Lirico di Spoleto and had a chance to work with Maestro Renato Bruson. In October 2022 Inna got a Grand Prix Opera and 2 special prizes at International Vocal Competition  Georges Enesco in Paris.  

She was recently engaged as Leonora in Verdi's Il Trovatore with the National Romanian Opera of Cluj Napoça
This Summer she took a part at Academia di Bel Canto George Solti in Castiglione della Pescaia where  she worked with Barbara Frittoli, Leo Nucci, Freddie de Tommaso and Richard Bonynge.
